Visas we process
- Investor and partner visas for company shareholders
- Employment visas for mainland and free zone staff
- Family visas for spouses, children and parents
- Green Visa: a 5-year self-sponsored visa for eligible freelancers, skilled employees and investors
- Visa renewals, cancellations and status changes
- Emirates ID applications and renewals
How the employment visa process works
For mainland companies, the process starts with a MOHRE work permit; for free zone companies, the free zone authority issues the permit. The employee then receives an entry permit or changes status inside the UAE, completes a medical fitness test and Emirates ID biometrics, and the residence visa is issued electronically and linked to the Emirates ID.
Family visa requirements
UAE residents can sponsor family members if they meet the minimum salary requirement, generally AED 4,000 per month, or AED 3,000 plus company-provided accommodation. Marriage and birth certificates issued outside the UAE usually need to be attested.

Frequently asked questions
How long does an employment visa take in Dubai?
Once the company file is active, an employment visa typically takes one to three weeks, depending on approvals, the medical test and Emirates ID processing.
Do I need to be in the UAE to apply?
The entry permit can be issued while you are outside the UAE. You need to be in the country for the medical test and Emirates ID biometrics.
What is the minimum salary to sponsor a family visa?
Generally AED 4,000 per month, or AED 3,000 plus accommodation provided by the employer. Requirements can change, so we confirm the current rules for your case.
What happens if my residence visa expires?
There is a grace period after a visa expires or is cancelled. After that, overstay fines apply. We recommend starting renewals at least a month before expiry.
What is the difference between the Green Visa and the Golden Visa?
The Green Visa is a 5-year self-sponsored residence visa for eligible freelancers, skilled employees and investors. The Golden Visa is a longer-term visa, usually 10 years, with higher eligibility thresholds.
