Main eligibility categories
Eligibility criteria are set by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) and the GDRFA in Dubai, and are updated from time to time. We confirm the current requirements for your category before you apply.
- Property investors: one or more properties in the UAE with a combined value of at least AED 2 million, including some mortgaged and off-plan properties under conditions
- Investors: an investment of at least AED 2 million in an approved investment fund or a UAE company, or other qualifying investments
- Entrepreneurs: owners of an approved start-up or economic project that meets the set criteria
- Skilled professionals: a bachelor's degree, a monthly salary of at least AED 30,000 and a MOHRE occupational level of 1 or 2
- Exceptional talents, scientists, outstanding students and graduates, and other categories set by the authorities
